MONITORING AND EVALUATION

“WHEN TEACHERS STIMULATE AND CHILDREN EMULATE" - THE MANTRA FOR ACHIEVING SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING OUTCOMES UNDER MULYAVARDHAN (MV).

At SMF we attempt to observe and measure just how well this process happens in the classrooms. Through intensive classroom observations and teacher support, we see whether:

  • Teachers demonstrate a sound understanding of MV course content and use child-centred pedagogy.
  • Classroom environment stimulates self-awareness, self-management skills and responsible behaviour.
  • Classrooms demonstrate social awareness and exhibit constructive, non-discriminatory and inclusive environment.

Mulyavardhan – A big advantage

ZPPS Purna Nagar has children coming in from the nearby private school. As per the HM, their school conducts several activities for the children, especially Mulyavardhan which has proved to be a real advantage for attracting children from other schools into their school. (Z P PRI Boys School,Purna Nagar, Purna Nagar, Bhatkuli, Amravati)

Students demonstrate self-awareness and self-management:

The school has a Bachat bank run by children totally. Most children contribute money to it and a proper register is maintained by the children. That money is used whenever the school or the individual child requires money. (ZPPS Kharadewasti, Aadarki Budruk, Phaltan, Satara)
